Educated Preschool Teacher for Wåga & Wilja Preschools

We are now looking for an engaged and driven educated preschool teacher with experience in leading work teams to one of our preschools in Skälby, Järfälla.

About the position

As a preschool teacher with us, you are a key person in the children's education and teaching. You lead the work together with your work team and create a safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environment where all children are given the opportunity to succeed.

At our preschools, we have a special focus on meeting children's different needs through a social-constructivist approach inspired by Reggio Emilia and 'hundraspråklighet' (a specific pedagogical concept/typo in original, kept as is or interpreted as language diversity), where structure, routines, adaptations, and support are a natural part of the teaching.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed preschool teacher
• Has knowledge of or a great interest in creating safe, structured, and inclusive learning environments
• Has a clear mission focus and child perspective
• Works for a democratic preschool where all children get to speak
• Is a clear and present leader in the children's group
• Has the ability to adapt teaching based on children's different needs and prerequisites
• Is self-reflective, solution-focused, and development-oriented
• Enjoys leading and including colleagues and contributing to the entire preschool's development

Your assignment

You will:

• Lead and develop the education according to the curriculum and Wåga & Wilja's work plan
• Work with early interventions and preventive work in the children's group through routines and the environment as the third educator
• Contribute to developing accessible learning environments and structures
• Work as a co-researching pedagogue
• Make learning processes visible through pedagogical documentation
• Work project-based where the children's needs, interests, and prerequisites are at the center
• Collaborate with colleagues, guardians, and external actors if needed
