About the Role
As a Data Engineer or Full-stack BI Consultant, you will work in delivery teams together with other Random Forest consultants. You will work closely with customers and colleagues on assignments that involve building, developing, and maintaining modern cloud-based data platforms.

An important part of the role is that you get to take technical responsibility early on. At Random Forest, it is competence, not titles, that drives decisions. Even with a couple of years of experience, you can take significant technical responsibility, make design decisions, and influence the design of customers' platforms. This provides both challenges and opportunities to grow quickly in the role.

You will work with both classic batch pipelines and streaming data, using modern technologies to handle and transform large datasets efficiently. If you are also skilled in front-end, such as Power BI, this is welcome as the entire chain is important for full understanding.

Examples of tasks:

• Design and development of batch pipelines and data platforms in Azure environments.
• Development in SQL and Python for data integration, data storage, and transformations.
• Work in modern tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaboration with other consultants and customers in agile teams.
• Contribute to technology choices and architectural decisions in deliveries.
• Work close to the customer and contribute to continuous improvements of data solutions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university or college education, for example in computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience working in data engineering, data science, or similar.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience working in Azure environments, for example with Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
