We are now looking for teacher substitutes for JENSEN adult education in Stockholm, starting this summer. With us, you decide when and how much you want to work, while gaining valuable work experience.

JENSEN adult education is for you who want to develop in your professional role and contribute to our students' success. As a teacher with us, together with engaged colleagues and present managers, you have the opportunity to develop and apply the possibilities of adult learning. You have great freedom to design your teaching in a way that challenges and develops your course participants.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Jensen has 5 schools in Stockholm (Fridhemsplan, Medborgarplatsen, Liljeholmen, Kista, Skärholmen) and as a hourly employee, you can work at all of them.
• Teach both in classrooms and remotely.
• As a qualified teacher, take full responsibility for teaching within your subject combination.
• Motivate and coach students to good study results and positive knowledge development according to national guidelines.
• Adapt teaching to different prior knowledge levels and individualize the setup.
• Handle administration regarding the course (e.g., grading, feedback, introduction, tests).
• Actively contribute to the unit's development and work to ensure the business reaches its goals.

We are looking for you who:

• Are resident in Stockholm.
• Are flexible with times and can step in with short notice. Preferably already this summer.
• Are studying at a university/college or have a teaching degree.
• Have competence primarily in one of the following subjects: English, mathematics, Swedish/Swedish as a second language. But other subjects may also be interesting.
• Are administratively inclined and understand the whole picture regarding administrative tasks within the teaching profession.
• Experience of teaching at adult education centers (Komvux) is meritorious.

You are used to working with students at different levels, can adapt your communication, and have experience with different study paces. As a person, you are engaged, inspiring, and coaching. You are creative, receptive, and responsible, and thrive in a high-paced environment.

Employment Type

The position is an hourly employment starting as agreed.
