Work end-to-end with BI, data flows, and business-oriented analytics at VR Sverige in Stockholm.

Do you want to work broadly within BI and data in a business that contributes to a more climate-smart society? At VR Sverige, you help keep Sweden moving through smarter analysis, follow-up, and data-driven decisions. You will become part of a collaborative BI team that works closely with the business, handling everything from data modeling and ETL flows to reports, analysis, and further development of the data platform.

You will work with large amounts of varied data, ranging from traffic and passenger flows to economics and operational follow-ups. What you will do here

You will work closely with the business to understand needs, translate them into technical solutions, and further develop VR Sverige's BI and data environment.

This includes, among other things:

• Working with ETL flows, data modeling, and data warehousing (currently TimeXtender/SQL Server, but transitioning to Snowflake within a few years)
• Building and further developing reports and solutions in Power BI
• Collaborating closely with the business regarding analysis, follow-up, and decision support

Your team and workplace

VR Sverige is one of Sweden's larger players in procured public transport, operating both train and bus traffic across large parts of the country. The company is in a strong growth phase with several new traffic agreements and an increased focus on development, data, and business management.

You will become part of a social and flat-hierarchy BI team with close collaboration both within the team and with the business. Dialogue, knowledge sharing, and joint problem-solving are natural parts of everyday life here. We are located in modern premises in Stockholm, Nacka, with the possibility of partial remote work.

About you

We believe you have at least five years of experience within BI, data, or analytics and feel confident working through the entire BI chain. You enjoy the combination of technology, business understanding, and problem-solving, and find it motivating to work in a role with high variety.

We also believe you have experience with:

• SQL and database work
• Operations and development of larger BI environments
• ETL flows, data modeling, and data warehousing

Experience with Snowflake or TimeXtender is a plus.
