Job Responsibilities

In this unique role, you lead the process of consolidating existing operations from the Vansbrohem foundation and the municipality's property management into a unified and powerful company. You will have significant autonomy to create structures, working methods, and strategies that make the company both modern, robust, and ready for the future. From the start, you will work closely with the board and be a key player in building an operational organization that will gradually take over and develop a portfolio of over 700 apartments, commercial premises, and public buildings. Concurrently, the company is expected to drive new construction and renovations.

As CEO, you will run the business in a commercial and professional manner while simultaneously serving as a clear ambassador for Vansbro Municipality. You will develop strategies for both management and new production, drive important projects, be responsible for financial goals and key performance indicators, lead rent negotiations, and build good relationships with politics, business life, and other external actors. This is an opportunity to both influence and be visible – a role where your leadership has concrete significance for residents, businesses, and the development of the entire municipality.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic background and experience leading at an overarching level, preferably as a CEO or in a strategic management role. You are confident in your leadership, accustomed to driving change, and have an easy time communicating, building trust, and making wise decisions even when the task is complex. You preferably have experience from the real estate industry and work in politically governed organizations. We would also like you to have an understanding of the public service mission and experience leading and monitoring smaller construction projects. Experiences that give you a stable foundation for the role. Most importantly, however, you are driven and courageous, and ready to take on a role where you will have significant influence and responsibility.

The role suits you who thrive when much is happening and who love to see the results of your leadership. You will lead a team of about thirty employees in functions such as property maintenance, operations, technology, project management, and administration. Building an attractive corporate culture will be an important part of your assignment.

What can Vansbrobostäder AB offer you?

Here you get the opportunity to set the tone for how a modern public housing company should work with social benefit, quality, innovation, security, and long-term sustainability.

You step into an expanding municipality with engaged and competent employees, and you get the opportunity to build up a completely new organization where your ideas and leadership have direct impact. We offer good development opportunities, relevant training, market-competitive conditions, and above all, a chance to create something that means a lot to people, to societal development, and to the future.

Ready for the next exciting step in your career? If you want to combine your professional expertise with a meaningful assignment in a municipality with confidence in the future, we look forward to hearing from you.
