About the position
TVA is the Air Force's Technology and Maintenance Office, responsible for maintaining continued airworthiness and maintenance (maintenance production, modification activities, joint technical issues, and owner representation) for all air material systems in the Swedish Armed Forces.
A part of TVA consists of the Support Systems and Analysis Section, located in Såtenäs, Luleå, and Uppsala.
In order to strengthen our preparation capacity, we are now looking for an Analysis Engineer with a focus on material data.
In your role as an Analysis Engineer, you will support the rest of TVA with expertise in basic and management data/material data, primarily within the areas of technical service and supply. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other employees in the Support Systems and Analysis Section and other departments within the Air Staff, but also with the Air Force Units, the Defence Staff, other Service Staffs, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), and industry. International industrial contacts and cooperation with other nations/operators occur, and in these cases, the working language is English.
Main responsibilities
- Create conditions for the material to be handled correctly (e.g., war-time placement, export control, spare parts supply, reporting, maintenance follow-up, etc.) in our various support systems (LIFT, PRIO, FENIX, and Teamcenter).
- Support to material systems within processes in supply and technical service.
- Collection of data from various operational monitoring and analysis systems for the different support systems used in the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Compilation, analysis, and reporting of data to the respective air and material systems.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering education or other work experience that can be assessed as equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in statistics and analysis work.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Driver's license category B.

Merits
- Experience of working with the processes Acquisition, Technical Service, and Supply.
- Experience of working with the processes within FM/FMV material production, material supply, and maintenance production.
- Experience of working with supply in the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience and knowledge of conducting air material service (SE EMAR M and 145).
Other
Employment type: Civil permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment level: Full-time.
Work location: Our intended work location is Såtenäs. Depending on where you live, we may be adaptable, and Uppsala, Linköping, Karlsborg, and Luleå can also be alternatives.
Start date: By agreement.
Salary: Individual salary setting applies.
Travel: Official travel within Sweden and abroad occurs.

The Air Staff develops, plans, implements, and evaluates orders and directives issued by the Air Force Commander. The Air Staff consists of approximately 350 employees. The Air Force organizes and trains air, base, and command units and has the task of monitoring and protecting Sweden's airspace.
