Teacher in Textile Craft and Wood & Metal Craft – Make a real difference

In preparation for autumn 2026, we are looking for two dedicated and driven craft teachers for grades 4–9. Additional subject qualifications are an advantage.

This is not a job for you if you just want to "maintain" things. This is for you if you want to develop, influence, and make a real difference for students who need it.

The Role

We are looking for a Wood & Metal Craft teacher at 100% and a Textile Craft teacher at approximately 50%. The Textile Craft position includes teaching at our smaller school, Rånäs, one morning per week.

At our school, the teaching role is clear: you plan, conduct, and follow up on high-quality teaching – and you take responsibility for ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

You will also serve as a mentor and a significant adult figure in the students' daily lives.

You will work in a collaborative team where we drive the school's development forward together, focusing on teaching quality, study environment, and student motivation.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher with qualifications in Textile Craft and/or Wood & Metal Craft.
• Ability to create safety, study environment, and engagement
• Clear leadership in the classroom
• Ability to adapt teaching to students' needs
• Desire to analyze, develop, and improve your teaching
• Consistent focus on students' knowledge development
