About Us

Welcome to our emergency and ambulance operations in Kungälv! These are two units where you will work with wonderful colleagues and exciting tasks.

The Emergency Department receives approximately 30,000 visits per year. The ambulance service consists of four ambulance stations: Ale, Kungälv, Stenungsund, and Tjörn, as well as a unit for supine patient transport.

In addition to the above, we have just launched MALT (Mobile Acute Doctor Team), which consists of prehospital care with a doctor and a nurse.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are an experienced registered nurse with a passion for prehospital and emergency care. You are a team player who enjoys fast-paced environments and is ready to take on new challenges with a smile. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

You will join our MALT team and work prehospital together with emergency physicians. In addition to MALT, you will have a combined role split between the emergency department and ambulance operations, with standard duties within each area.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are/has:

• Registered Nurse with prehospital advanced education is meritorious.
• Experience in emergency care is highly meritorious.
• A driver's license with at least category B is required; having category C/C1 is highly meritorious.
• Emergency driving training is highly meritorious, as is good local knowledge of the geographical areas in the ambulance districts.
• You should have good physical fitness as we conduct physical tests.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, where flexibility and the ability to work independently are important components.

Working Hours

The position involves working hours scheduled for day/evening/night on weekdays and weekends.
