We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer for our client.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute sourcing projects and activities.
• Lead collaboration and communication with cross-functional global teams and engage with relevant stakeholders.
• Implement category strategies.
• Manage commercial supplier relationships.
• Handle supplier governance and contracts.
• Deliver value through improved performance, compliance, and cost reduction.
• Participate in the journey towards Operational Excellence and a world-class procurement organization.

In 2021, a comprehensive Procurement Excellence program was launched, which will run for several years with the goal of developing the business into a world-leading procurement organization.

Travel within Sweden may occur in this role.

Your Profile

We are looking for a business-driven and commercially focused strategic buyer with documented experience in executing and delivering results in sourcing and procurement. You thrive leading sourcing activities and collaborating with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to independently manage contracts and supplier relationships. We also value qualities such as openness, teamwork, self-drive, structure, analytical thinking, and a strong desire to achieve set goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree, relevant university education, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience in procurement within software and IT.
• Strong business acumen and commercial drive.
• Extensive experience in purchasing software and applications.
• Good knowledge of the software and IT market, suppliers, solutions, and business models.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

Merits

• Experience within Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Experience leading commercial teams.
• Interest in continuous improvements and digitalization.

The position requires you to undergo a security clearance according to current security protection regulations. For some security-classified positions, specific citizenship requirements may apply.
