About Us

Welcome to our emergency and ambulance operations in Kungälv! These are two units where you will work with wonderful colleagues and exciting tasks.

The Emergency Department receives approximately 30,000 visits per year. The ambulance service consists of four ambulance stations in Ale, Kungälv, Stenungsund, and Tjörn, as well as a unit for supine patient transport.

In addition to the above, we have recently launched MALT (Mobile Emergency Doctor Team), which consists of prehospital care with a doctor and a nurse.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are an experienced registered nurse with a passion for prehospital and emergency care. You are a team player who enjoys speed and excitement and is ready to take on new challenges with a smile. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of our MALT team and work prehospital together with emergency doctors. In addition to MALT, you will have a combined position split between the emergency and ambulance operations with standard tasks within each operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are/have:

• Registered nurse; prehospital further education is meritorious.
• Experience in emergency care is highly meritorious.
• A driver's license with at least category B is required; it is highly meritorious if you have C-/C1 category.
• Emergency driver training is highly meritorious, as well as good local knowledge of the geographical areas in the ambulance districts.
• You should have good physical fitness as we conduct physical tests.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, where flexibility and the ability to work independently are important elements.

Working Hours

The position involves working hours scheduled for day/evening/night on weekdays and weekends.
