Description of duties

The duties include creating a good indoor and working environment through professional cleaning and ensuring that current premises maintain a high hygienic standard. The workday begins at 06:00 with cleaning during the morning. After that, the nature of the position changes, and you move into working in the school café for the remainder of the day. This means you work in the school café selling the café's products to students and staff. It also involves preparing food products to some extent, such as sandwiches.

The role also includes taking care of the student café premises, decorating, picking up litter, arranging chairs, and ensuring that the school's rules of order are followed in the café areas. You must therefore be able to build relationships and also be able to speak up when rules are broken. The position is a break-time position, meaning you work and are off at the same times as the students at the school.

Qualifications

Good oral and written skills in Swedish are a prerequisite for the position. Experience in cleaning, café operations, and youth activities is meritorious. In your role, you take initiative, start activities, and achieve good results. In times of change, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to quickly change your mindset and working methods.

You work well with other people and relate to them in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in your work. You find it easy to make contacts and maintain relationships. In your interactions, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver good service.
