At Infotiv Technology Development, we are currently looking for an engineer to work with integration testing for one of our automotive clients. This role requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and the drive to troubleshoot and find solutions to problems.

Your future challenge
We are currently looking for a new tester with an eye for detail to take on the role of Integration Engineer for complete software. You will join a team of skilled testers, and together you will contribute to important quality assurance, which is crucial for the customer experience. Your main area of responsibility will be non-functional testing with a focus on performance.
Examples of tasks
- Integration testing in boxcar/boxtruck
- Automated testing
- Troubleshooting
- Scripting in languages such as Python or CAPL
- Create and manage bug reports, as well as troubleshooting
- Communicate with node owners and other stakeholders to spread knowledge regarding baseline status and increase understanding of deviations
- Report test results to stakeholders (PO, Integration Manager, Release Managers)
- Support testers and developers within the organization
- Develop and improve testing methods
The person you are today
You have a university degree or equivalent and experience with integration and verification of embedded systems, as well as some experience with test automation. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about testing. You communicate and network easily to get the support you need. Your sense of order drives you in your testing work; even when the surroundings are in flux, you find satisfaction in ensuring that what is under your control is in order. You enjoy troubleshooting, studying logs, and love it when you manage to locate the cause of a problem. When you find a problem, you communicate it in a pleasant but effective manner to the stakeholders who need the information. You see a consulting role as a first choice to be part of different projects and companies.
As a person, you are engaged and strive to deliver your best result every time. You are creative, curious, and quick to adapt to different situations. You find it exciting when things are not predetermined and are spurred on by the opportunity to immerse yourself in new contexts. You have excellent interpersonal skills and understand the project's needs to find the right solution to move forward. You are social, enjoy working in teams, and see exciting challenges in the opportunities offered.
You bring the following:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent work experience
- A few years of experience from the automotive industry
- Experience with integration and verification of electronic hardware and software, preferably at the complete vehicle level and from boxcar/boxtruck
- Interest in testing software or electronic hardware, as well as a genuine interest in understanding how technical products work under the surface
- Experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyser
- Experience with scripting in Python or CAPL/C
- Fluent English skills
- Driver's license for passenger cars within the EU is a must, good driving skills are meritorious
- Citizenship or work permit for Sweden
It is also meritorious if you have:
- ISTQB certification
- Experience from testing in complete vehicle, VIL, or HIL
- Experience from CI/CD environments
- Experience with tools such as vTestStudio, RobotFramework, or similar
- Experience with Git
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or CAPL
