Yxlan Cultural Association is a newly established non-profit cultural association on the island of Yxlan outside Norrtälje. For the summer of 2026, we plan to arrange a trial course in drama and theater for children aged 4–6.

We are now looking for a drama/theater educator who wants to plan and lead the course during week 28 or 29. The course is intended to last 2–3 hours per day for five days, with a small group of approximately 8 participants.

We are looking for someone with experience in artistic and pedagogical work with children, preferably younger children. You may have education or experience in drama, theater, dance, circus, music, preschool pedagogy, or other relevant fields. The most important thing is that you are confident working with children, can create a playful and inspiring environment, and enjoy working in an exploratory, creative, and joyful manner.

This role is perfect for you if you want to help shape a small, close-knit, and summery course where children get to try out theater through play, imagination, movement, storytelling, and collaboration.

Scope:

2–3 hours per day for 5 days, week 28 or 29

Preparation and planning as agreed

Location:

Yxlan, Norrtälje Municipality

Compensation:

Reasonable fee/salary as agreed.

Merits:

It is a plus if you have the possibility of accommodation near Yxlan, Blidö, or the Norrtälje area.
