Study and Career Counselor at AcadeMedia Guidance in Stockholm (80%)

We are now opening up to welcome a new colleague to our central unit in Stockholm.

Here you will find a workplace where well-being and quality are at the center. We have over 10 years of experience in guidance at our schools and work in close collaboration with each school to ensure that assignments are well-founded and reasonably designed. Your work is planned together with your direct manager and the school principal. Through clear job descriptions and annual calendars, we create structure, sustainability, and good conditions for working with study and career guidance.

As part of AcadeMedia Guidance, you will be part of an engaged and tightly knit group of study and career counselors, both locally in Stockholm and nationally. We meet regularly for experience sharing and competence development, and we share materials and working methods with each other.

Our quality work is structured, where we jointly develop operations with a focus on guidance, and where interventions reflect the students' needs.

This is what you will become a part of

Do you want to help make Sweden a little better? At AcadeMedia, we work every day to help people grow throughout the entire education chain.

You will be employed centrally at AcadeMedia Guidance and will work as a study and career counselor placed at a high school in central Stockholm. In the role, you will work with general guidance in collaboration with the school staff, as well as individual guidance and information efforts for the students at the school. It is important to us that you, as a new employee, get a really good start, which is why everyone here gets a mentor as a sounding board and support during the first year.

This is who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a degree in study and career counseling. Experience from working at a high school is meritorious.

You work based on the ethical guidelines for guidance and are good at building trust and relationships with students, guardians, and school staff. You have good knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and are confident in using digital tools.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, drive, and attitude towards the assignment.

Here you will receive collectively agreed benefits and insurances, fitness allowance, pension advice, staff discounts, as well as the opportunity for favorable purchases via net and gross salary exchange.
