Bergfotens School is a grades F-6 school located in a pleasant area with a nice schoolyard bordered by forest and within walking distance to Tyresö Centre. About the position

We are looking for you who are passionate about teaching wood and metal crafts and who, together with the rest of us, strive to maintain a secure school where our students can begin their learning journey in an environment that invites creativity and curiosity. This position does not include mentorship duties.

The position is a permanent employment at 50–60 %.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with qualifications in wood and metal crafts, passionate about your profession and dedicated to ensuring student success. You are a leader in the classroom, possess strong pedagogical skills, and are skilled at motivating and inspiring your students. You naturally have a positive approach and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth.

Just like your future colleagues, you find your work fun, challenging, and exciting. You have high expectations for your students as well as strong engagement. You work towards an inclusive approach and promote student participation in their learning. You are driven to develop teaching together with your colleagues.

You are good at building relationships and always put the students' best interests first. You are well-versed in the curriculum and work actively based on it. We place great importance on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated teacher, you will be offered a mentor who will provide the introduction you may need during your first year.
