About the Operations

Our Distribution division is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of all our distribution networks (electricity, district heating, gas, and district cooling). It is divided into five departments: Network Strategy and Business, Customer and Growth, Network Planning, District Heating & Gas – Delivery, and Electricity Network – Delivery.

This position is located within the District Heating, District Cooling & Gas Projects unit, which consists of 10 people responsible for engineering, project/construction management, implementation, and documentation of expansion and maintenance projects.

About the Position

We are now looking for a Project Engineer for the District Heating, District Cooling & Gas projects unit, with solid technical knowledge of network construction and who is comfortable in the role of construction manager but ready to take the step to project manager.

We are a small team working closely together to find the best solutions in our projects. You will participate in and drive projects through the entire process, from planning to final delivery. We act as BAS-P and BAS-U in our projects. We carry out many projects independently but also have collaborative projects with the City and NSVA.

In your role, you will lead distribution projects, the entire chain from preliminary study to follow-up, both in the office and in the field. This means you will lead everything from engineering, planning, and coordination to economic and quality follow-up. You will have consultants, subcontractors, and fitters to help with operational work, and you are responsible for occupational health and safety coordination. Your job is to ensure that every individual distribution project follows Öresundskraft's processes and that safety is always prioritized.

In this role, you are expected to conduct site visits and handle coordination and contact with customers, contractors, and suppliers. The work suits you if you enjoy driving multiple projects in parallel and like switching between different roles and project phases. The position is a permanent full-time employment.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Project and/or construction management of new services and replacements in the network.
  • Develop technical specifications.
  • Control and steer projects in both the planning phase and execution phase.
  • Procurement of contracts together with the purchasing department, as well as orders and requisitions.
  • Actively contribute to the development of operations.
  • Economic follow-up.
  • Always prioritize safety, with early risk analyses, continuous risk observations, and a constant strive to improve our work environment.
  • BAS-P/BAS-U.

About You

  • You have a technical education at university or high school level, focusing on construction & infrastructure, road/water, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading infrastructure projects, where district heating or water/wastewater is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of AB04/ABT06 and AMA Anläggning, and good knowledge of contract economics.
  • Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Valid B-driver's license.

Advantageous knowledge includes:

  • Industry standard D:211.
  • Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations regarding construction occupational health and safety coordination, pressurized equipment, etc.
  • Experience with engineering in a client organization is advantageous.

Personal Qualities

You thrive in a role with close collaboration with customers, contractors, and consultants. You are collaborative, clear, and communicative.

You are structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious. The role involves complex issues, so you need to enjoy problem-solving and be able to prioritize what drives the work forward.

You are independent, calm, and stable, with the ability to see the big picture and create momentum.

Application

The last day for applications is June 14. Access to the position can be immediate. We conduct ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

If you want to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact Unit Manager for District Heating and District Cooling Projects, Maria Edesgård, 042‑490 3962.
