At Infotiv Technology Development, we are currently looking for a Verification Engineer for a project with one of our automotive clients who work with complete vehicle testing. This role requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and a drive to troubleshoot and find solutions to problems.

Your future challenge
We are currently looking for our new tester with an eye for detail who can take on the role of Verification Engineer within complete vehicle testing. You will be part of a team with other skilled testers, and together you will contribute to vital quality assurance, which ultimately is crucial for the customer experience. Your main area of responsibility will be preparing test objects and testing the system's electrical properties.
Some examples of tasks
- Update and ensure baselines (HW and SW).
- Execute tests (in vehicles) based on established test protocols.
- Analyze test results.
- Create and manage bug reports, as well as troubleshoot.
- Communicate with node owners and other stakeholders to spread knowledge regarding baseline status and increase understanding of deviations.
- Report test results to stakeholders (PO, Integration Lead, Release Managers).
- Support testers and developers.
- Develop and improve testing methods for complete vehicle testing.
The person you are today
You have a university degree or equivalent and preferably experience with verification of embedded systems. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about testing. You communicate and network easily to get the support you need. Your sense of order and structure is your driving force in testing work. Even though the surroundings are moving, you find satisfaction in knowing that what you have control over is at least in order. You like troubleshooting and studying logs, and it is exciting for you when you manage to locate the cause of a problem. When you find a problem, you have the ability to communicate this to various stakeholders in a pleasant but effective manner. You see the consulting role as a first choice to have the opportunity to be part of different projects and companies.
As a person, you are engaged and strive to deliver your best result every time. You are creative, curious about the assignment's needs, and can quickly adapt to different situations. You find it exciting when everything is not predetermined and are spurred by getting into new contexts. You have phenomenal fingertips and understand the project's needs to find the right solution to move forward. You are social, enjoy working in teams, and see exciting challenges in the opportunities offered.
You bring the following with you
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent work experience.
- A few years of experience from the automotive industry.
- Experience with integration and verification of electronic hardware and software, preferably at the complete vehicle level.
- Interest in testing software or electronic hardware, as well as a genuine interest in understanding how technical products work under the surface.
- Fluent English skills.
- Driver's license for passenger cars within the EU is a must; good driving skills are highly meritorious.
- Citizenship or work permit for Sweden.
Also meritorious are
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyser.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or CAPL.
