RESPONSIBILITIES

Sandvikskolan is seeking a Special Needs Teacher with a focus on Intellectual Disability (IF).

As a special needs teacher at Sandvikskolan, you will step into a small and secure school environment. Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with your students in small groups, focusing on highlighting each individual's unique strengths. Through thematic and cross-curricular work, we create a meaningful and understandable school day for students with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Your main tasks

In your role, you are the pedagogical leader shaping the future of our students. Your responsibilities include:

• Individualized instruction: Plan and lead teaching within the subjects and subject areas of adapted primary school.
• Pedagogical leadership: Supervise student assistants and collaborate with school management to ensure high quality in the support provided to each student.
• Tools for success: Use clarifying pedagogy and alternative learning tools as a natural part of everyday life.
• School development: Be a driving voice in our pedagogical forum and contribute to the continuous development of Sandvikskolan.
