About Viscaria
Viscaria is a Swedish listed mining company focused on restarting the Viscaria mine in Kiruna – a copper deposit with excellent geological conditions. The company works to develop modern and responsible mining where new technology, efficient processes, and high environmental requirements are a natural part of operations.
Copper is one of the world's most sought-after metals and plays a central role in electrification, renewable energy, and the green transition. The ambition is for the Viscaria mine to become a key supplier of responsibly produced copper to Europe.
After obtaining the necessary permits, the company is now in a phase where the organization is growing and preparing for upcoming production. The project includes, among other things, the development of new facilities and the building of an organization to drive operations sustainably.
As an HR Business Partner, you will become part of this journey and have the opportunity to contribute to shaping working methods, culture, and HR structure in a growing company.
The role offers the possibility to base yourself in Luleå with a hybrid/remote setup, combined with regular presence in Kiruna.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you work closely with managers and operations and have a central role in daily HR work. The role is broad and varied, and the content can be partially adapted based on your experience and strengths.
You might come from a broad HR role, have worked more specialized in recruitment, or have experience in employee-facing work in another function. You support managers in matters regarding recruitment, working environment, employee issues, structure, and development. The work includes both operational support in everyday life and the opportunity to contribute to the development of processes and working methods.
As new roles and functions are established, recruitment and talent acquisition become an important part of the assignment. Here, you contribute with structure, coordination, and support in close collaboration with responsible managers.
Responsibilities
Examples of common tasks include:
- Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Support to managers in employee and organizational matters
- Onboarding of new employees
- Employment law and collective agreement-related issues
- Payroll processes and HR-related administration
- HR systems and digital tools
- Development and quality assurance of HR processes
- Working environment and issues related to culture and employer branding
We are looking for you
We are looking for you who have experience in HR, recruitment, or other work where you have supported managers, employees, or organizations in personnel-related matters.
You may have an academic education in HR/personnel, behavioral science, or similar – but it can also be experience that has given you equivalent knowledge.
We would like you to have:
- Experience of HR work, recruitment, or a similar role
- Interest in employment law, working environment, and leadership support
- Experience with administrative tasks and digital systems
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have previously worked in a growth-oriented and/or industrial environment – but it is not a requirement for the position.

Viscaria Mining Company is a Swedish listed company focused on reopening the Viscaria mine in Kiruna and establishing modern, responsible copper production.
