The neonatal unit, together with the pediatric emergency department, pediatric ward, and outpatient care, forms the Child and Adolescent Clinic at Vrinnevi Hospital. Highest on our agenda is a good working environment and safe, high-quality care. A major investment is being made in the renovation of the entire Vrinnevi Hospital, and we at the neonatal unit have been housed in our new, purpose-built premises since autumn 2020. Together, we are approximately 150 employees at the clinic who work every day to provide good and safe specialized pediatric care.

Job Description

We are looking for you who are a nurse and interested in working with premature babies and their parents. At the unit, we work according to NIDCAP, which means that care is individualized for the child and that we work in a family-centered manner. As we constantly strive to be at the forefront regarding care for our small patients, you are expected to be involved in the unit's quality and improvement work. The position involves a schedule with rotation between day, evening, and night shifts.

About You

You are a registered nurse, with or without previous professional experience. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Experience working with children or in intensive care is highly valued, and specialist training in pediatric care is an advantage. Good Swedish skills in speech and writing are required.

As a person, you are secure, adapt easily to different situations, and have good collaboration skills. You thrive as part of an interdisciplinary team where all professional categories learn from each other. It is a given that you contribute a positive and professional attitude in your work.
