As a Senior Requirements Analyst, you will play a central role in translating business needs, legal requirements, and strategic goals into concrete and sustainable IT solutions.

About the role

As a Requirements Analyst, you act as the bridge between the business and the development team. You are responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, ensuring they are clear, prioritized, and feasible to implement.

You work with requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and process mapping, producing requirement specifications, user stories, and process models. The role involves close collaboration with business experts, product owners, and development teams in environments with many stakeholders and complex needs.

You also contribute to digitalization initiatives, ensure traceability and quality in the development process, and support testing to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. In some cases, you may also participate in procurement processes and work with vendor dialogues.

Your background

We are looking for someone who has

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of professional experience in IT requirements analysis, preferably within the public sector or other complex, regulated environments.
• Professional experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
• Experience working in agile system development environments.
• Experience collaborating with many stakeholders in large organizations or government agencies.
• Knowledge of handling accessibility perspectives related to UX in requirements management.
• Good understanding of GDPR, information security, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience from the public sector, such as a government agency, region, or municipality.
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft DevOps or similar.
• Experience in procurement or vendor management.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks within the public sector.
• Experience with PEGA or other low-code platforms.
• Certification in areas such as IREB, BABOK, or SAFe.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and communicative. You have a good ability to translate business needs into clear and understandable requirements and thrive in a role with many contact points.

You work in a solution-oriented manner, take responsibility for your work, and actively contribute to collaboration and development within the team. You also have a good understanding of how laws, guidelines, and standards influence requirements in public sector operations.

Other information

The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified for security clearance, and a security investigation with register check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have foreign background.
