About Unika Vasastan's Daily Activities

At Unika Vasastan's daily activity program Film and Media, we start from our participants, their individual goals, wishes, ambitions, prerequisites, and dreams. By working creatively with music, film, media, theater, and singing, we strive to support all our participants in achieving their goals.

We are an LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activity characterized by high ambitions and respect for our participants. The coaches are there as support for each of our participants, and everyone is offered exactly the support they request and need to achieve their goals.

Everything we do is created from scratch within the activity, such as scripts and music. The starting point is always our artists, the participants. As a coach with us, you will work with both aesthetic work sessions and issues regarding interaction, methodology, documentation, and an individual perspective.

Our target group consists of adults and young adults with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF). We do not base our work on how daily activities have always been or looked, but adapt to the needs and interests present today among our participants and to each individual's own prerequisites.

Our premises include a built stage, a music studio, and a green screen for film recording. Here we rehearse for future assignments and performances. This could include singing at a fair, entertainment during breaks at the Funkisfestivalen, filming for a Christmas calendar, or a choir performance at the headquarters around Lucia.

About the Role of Singing Coach

As a coach with us, you support the participants in both their artistic processes and their daily lives, contributing to creating a meaningful, creative, and inclusive environment.

Your role as a singing coach is to lead our choir and support the participants in singing and melody, as well as to plan these sessions independently.

In addition, you will have an important function as a contact coach/support person with responsibility for documentation for a number of participants.

Qualifications

• Education or many years of documented experience working with people with disabilities.
• Education or many years of documented experience in singing.
• Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good teamwork skills and initiative.
• A pedagogical and inclusive approach to work.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Employment Type: Fixed-term contract for 1 year
Hours of Work: Approx. 70% Mon-Fri
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9 AM - 3 PM (Thursdays 8 AM - 3 PM due to morning meeting)
Start Date: 2026-09-01 to 2027-08-31
Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
