Opportunity to apply for study grants for future nurses at Enköping Hospital!

Are you a nursing student dreaming of starting your career in an exciting and developmental way? We offer those who begin semester 6 of the nursing program and choose to start their career with us after completing their studies, the opportunity to apply for a study grant during their final semester (semester 6).

Transition into the role of a newly graduated nurse

At Enköping Hospital, you will get a secure and educational start in your professional life. We offer varied tasks and a supportive work environment. As a new employee at Enköping Hospital, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career. In addition to your workplace-specific introduction, you will also participate in our extensive introduction week for new employees, KULE – Clinical Education Enköping Hospital, where we offer an interprofessional setup. Here, you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professional categories.

For newly graduated nurses, we also offer an enhanced introduction for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional mentoring as well as shadowing and coaching by our clinical adjunct. You will also have the opportunity to participate in practical training at our CTC (Clinical Training Center), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills.

Our operations

We are a general medical department with 24 care beds, where we offer specialized care for stroke patients among other things. The department consists of approximately 50 employees, and we work in multiprofessional teams, in accordance with national guidelines for stroke care. Here on the department, you will have the opportunity to grow with us and become part of our commitment to providing our patients with the best possible care. As an employee on Medical Department 2, you will have a broad medical foundation to stand on, as we treat patients from the entire medical field, making your work varied and educational.

We value a secure work environment where everyone, both patients and staff, feel involved and satisfied. Here, you will receive support from a senior nurse who helps new employees get started, as well as a coordinator and a discharge nurse who make the daily work smoother.

Your qualifications

You are a student in the nursing program and are starting semester 6. We highly value personal suitability – being responsible, motivated, flexible, and curious.

We offer

  • Permanent employment as a nursing assistant or assistant nurse if you have previous education as an assistant nurse.
  • When you present your license, the employment is converted to a permanent position as a nurse.
  • A commitment to work with us for at least 12 months after graduation.
  • Opportunity to work as an assistant nurse or nursing assistant during your studies – though this is not a requirement.
