Who we are looking for:

We are looking for you if you are a certified preschool teacher. Experience working in a preschool is an advantage. This is a fixed-term position at 90% during the 2026/2027 academic year. You will work on one of our departments for children aged 2.5–4 years.

We see you as a preschool teacher who builds your practice on close pedagogical relationships with the children and who is passionate about meeting children in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. Your clear pedagogical leadership is always grounded in a focus on the child's development and well-being.

Through joint collegial reflections, we meet each other's thoughts and grow in our profession. It is important to us that you, as a prospective preschool teacher, approach your assignment with curiosity. Our way of working is based on systematic joint analyses, from which a continuous development work focused on high quality and joy takes place.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work on a department. You participate in regular meetings and ensure that your colleagues are involved in their assignments.

About us:

Vittra Vallentuna Preschool is located in Kragstalund in southern Vallentuna, directly connected to the Roslagsbanan railway. The preschool has been in operation since 2006 and is integrated with Vittra Vallentuna Primary School, which started in the autumn of 2006. We have access to several nice playgrounds and forest areas in our immediate vicinity.

Our preschool is Green Flag certified and works with the "Före Bornholmsmodellen" as part of our language strategy.

We have a 1–16-year perspective under the same roof. Today, we have approximately 570 children and students from preschool to grade 9, of which approximately 65 children are enrolled in the preschool. The preschool has its own premises for its activities but can also utilize the primary school's facilities on various occasions. Eleven educators work at the preschool, including four preschool teachers, distributed across three departments. Our three departments collaborate closely both in daily work and in the preschool's development work.
