ABOUT THE ROLE

On behalf of AFRY, we are now launching an initiative to give you, as a newly graduated engineer, the opportunity to join our Talent Program. This is a great opportunity for you who want to gain the knowledge required to work with project management - and in the long run, become a qualified Project Engineer!

In the role of Junior Project Engineer, you work with a broad perspective within the nuclear power operations. Currently, the projects mainly consist of decommissioning, where you will have broad tasks in your areas of responsibility. This may involve analyzing prerequisites for demolition, conducting investigations, developing concepts, and holding dialogue with various stakeholders prior to decommissioning work. Depending on changes and future conditions, there is also the possibility to work with new construction and life extension.

Projects may, for example, consist of removing turbines, demolishing concrete parts, waste management, etc., where you as a Junior Project Engineer are involved in coordinating much of the analysis, logistics, and handling regarding this.

Examples of other common tasks:

• Contact with contractors, working on requirement specifications towards contractors
• You coordinate the work and act as support to the main responsible Project Engineer

THE TALENT PROGRAM

The Future Talent Program with AFRY aims to give you, as a newly graduated engineer, a good start to your career at AFRY. The program will last for one year, during which you will have the opportunity to combine your exciting consulting assignments at the customer site with education so that you can grow as a person and develop your technical competence. YOUR PROFILE

We believe that you who apply have a strong technical interest, and see this as a great opportunity to directly get the chance to develop your skills as a Project Engineer in a junior role. You find work within the energy industry interesting, and will bring humility and a willingness to learn.

As a Junior Project Engineer, the following is required:

• At least a university degree in engineering, preferably in Industrial Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Electrical Power Engineering, Technical Physics, or Ecosystem Technology
• Alternatively, relevant University College degree (YH) + relevant experience
• Swedish & English
• Driver's license Class B
• Clean criminal record - Security clearance will be conducted
