About your role
As a Space Manager for Beauty at Åhléns, you are responsible for optimizing our sales spaces – with the goal of creating an attractive customer experience while maximizing sales and profitability.
You work at the intersection of assortment, analysis, and physical store operations. Through data-driven insights, understanding of customer behavior, and a strong business focus, you develop planograms and space solutions that make a difference in our department stores.
The role involves significant autonomy where you drive the work forward, influence decisions, and serve as a key figure in the development of our beauty business.
Examples of what you will do:
- Optimize sales spaces within Beauty based on business plans and assortment strategies
- Create, analyze, and develop planograms implemented across all department stores
- Analyze sales, gross profit, and space efficiency at the product and cluster level
- Ensure the right product, in the right quantity, in the right place
- Drive assortment and space revisions based on data and customer behavior
- Present analyses and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Provide advisory support to product managers regarding assortment and space allocation
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, sales, visual merchandising, and expansion teams
- Contribute to the development of methods, processes, and tools within space planning

What you bring to us:
- Relevant education in areas such as economics, purchasing, or retail
- At least 3 years of experience in space management or a similar role
- Experience from retail, preferably within beauty or a related category
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data
- Good proficiency in Excel and the Office suite
- Experience with space planning tools such as JDA, SpaceMan, or similar

You are self-motivated and take responsibility for driving your work forward, while also having strong collaboration skills and thriving in a role with many touchpoints.

The position is a permanent full-time role located at Åhléns headquarters on Dalagatan in Stockholm.
