Bollnäs Health Centre is the largest health centre in Region Gävleborg. It is located at Bollnäs Hospital. Here, we have gathered all our expertise under one roof, creating a strong and competent team with many years of experience in primary care. Together, we make a difference for our approximately 18,000 registered patients. We offer a wide range of healthcare services and work with continuity, quality, and job satisfaction.

You will have close proximity to a well-functioning hospital and personal contact with inpatient colleagues. We guarantee a smooth collaboration with competent colleagues from other professions at the health centre. Teamwork is strong here, and we always put the patient first. One of our strengths is that we have several full-time general specialists.

There is an opportunity to combine work at our health centre in Voxnadalen, located approximately 20 minutes from Bollnäs. This can be part-time or full-time. The health centre in Voxnadalen is a smaller operation with approximately 2,000 registered patients, offering great opportunities to develop skills in rural medicine.

Requirements for the position:

You are a specialist in general medicine with the license to practice in Swedish healthcare. You are driven by quality in your work and are a good collaborator among colleagues. You thrive in an open environment where the work is patient-focused. You have good listening skills, are meticulous, can work independently, and enjoy close collaboration with the entire team to provide the best care for patients. We place great emphasis on teamwork, as we know that care quality increases through team-based management involving different professional categories.

Fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

Job responsibilities

Standard duties as a district doctor at a health centre.

You will have scheduled appointments with booked patients, as well as acute patients, chat consultations, and digital visits. If you are motivated by supervising ST-doctors (residents), there are good opportunities for this. As a district doctor at the health centre, your work will be shaped as much as possible according to your interests and experience. We value the strong collaboration between professional groups and expect you to become part of this work.

Bollnäs Municipality is located in the heart of Hälsingland with nearly 27,000 inhabitants. Live and experience beautiful nature experiences close by, both in summer and winter. Here you are always close to lakes, forests, and the beautiful surrounding mountains. Sundsvall is located about 20 miles north of Bollnäs, and Gävle is 10 miles south.
