Job Responsibilities

Your tasks as a care assistant within the home care services are creative, fun, and varied. It is a rewarding, flexible, and independent job where you meet users with different needs for support and care. You base your work on the user's needs and strive for good meetings and cooperation.

The work includes:

• Personal care
• Household services
• Healthcare and nursing tasks (based on delegation)
• Documentation
• Collaboration and cooperation

The work is carried out in collaboration with other professional groups such as rehabilitation staff, nursing assistants, nurses, needs assessors, coordinators, and managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for more competent colleagues who want to work in a team with our dedicated and skilled employees within the home care services in Vårgårda Municipality.

Completion of a nursing and care program or equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent. For employment as a care assistant, proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) regarding the right to use the professional title "care assistant" is required.

You must have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in writing implementation plans is an advantage.

You must have a driver's license and be able to cycle.

The home care services are undergoing development to become a more cohesive unit. Part of this work involves establishing a functioning approach regarding permanent care contacts. Therefore, we place great emphasis on your ability to build good relationships with users and their relatives.

We view previous experience in healthcare and social care as an advantage.

Before an employment offer is made, proof of professional qualification/license and a certificate of good conduct (extract from the record of offenses) must be presented.

Employment type: Permanent position.

Full-time work is the norm in Vårgårda Municipality, with the possibility of part-time work. Since full-time positions are not always available, jobs may be combined with other tasks or at other workplaces.
