Vårdcentral Nyhälsan is part of Bräcke diakoni – a faith-based foundation working for a more humane society. For us, being faith-based is not just a phrase alongside the mission. As a district doctor at Nyhälsan, you will have a broad general medical role in two care environments: a medium-sized health center in Nässjö and a smaller branch in Forserum. This provides variety in daily life and the opportunity to contribute to care that develops close to both patients and employees.

Your Role

As a specialist in general medicine with us, you will work with the full range of primary care tasks. You will make medical assessments, follow up with patients, and collaborate closely with nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and other colleagues. You will work both at the health center in Nässjö and at the branch in Forserum. The combination gives you both the breadth of the larger health center and the closeness of the smaller branch. You will also have the freedom to influence planning, working methods, and how we together create a sustainable daily life for patients and employees.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine and want to work in a health center where the patient's needs, relationships, and medical judgment guide the work over time. You are confident in your medical profession, but curious about what becomes possible when care is organized closer to the patient and when the doctor's assessments take place together with the team's competence. You want to work broadly, take responsibility in patient care, and help develop working methods that work in practice.

Bräcke Health Center Nyhälsan

Nyhälsan is a health center in Nässjö with a branch in Forserum and approximately 7,800 registered patients. The operations include a doctor's office, a nurse's office, a diabetes and asthma/COPD clinic, a psychosocial team, and rehabilitation. This provides good conditions for working together around the patient and meeting different needs within the framework of the general medical role.

As part of Bräcke diakoni, we work faith-based and close to the needs we meet in everyday life. For you as a doctor, this means you get to use your medical judgment in a context where time, sensitivity, and long-term perspective characterize the meeting with the patient.
