About the role

Faringe Kött & Slakt is an established company within slaughtering and butchery with approximately 20 employees and a turnover of around 80 MSEK. Initially, you will work closely with existing staff within administration, planning, and supplier contacts, to gradually grow into a more independent role in purchasing and production planning. This is a role for you who enjoys being out in the field to both maintain existing and establish new important supplier contacts that are crucial for continued growth.

Responsibilities

The role is operational and close to the business, with a focus on ensuring an efficient inflow to production. Over time, you will spend a large part of your time in the field meeting farmers, thereby taking greater responsibility for supplier relations and purchasing.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Daily contact with suppliers (primarily farmers) via both personal meetings and phone
• Planning of slaughter schedule and inflow of animals
• Coordination of logistics related to animal pickup
• Administrative tasks related to purchasing and production (e.g., invoice handling and basic economics)
• Collaboration with production regarding planning and production capacity

• Experience from slaughterhouses, agriculture, or the meat industry
• Some experience from similar tasks, such as purchasing, planning, or supplier responsibility
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

We consider it a merit if you have…

• Experience from production and understanding of production flows
