Job Description

Within the Environment business area, AFRY offers qualified consulting services regarding contaminated sites as well as environment & sustainability. In Malmö, AFRY currently has a large section working with notification and permit cases, water and air investigations, environmental impact assessments, environmental investigations, environmental technical site investigations, environmental controls, risk assessments, sustainability, auditing, environmental management, and quality management. Our customer base is broad, with clients in both the private and public (municipal and state) sectors.
We are looking for you who are an experienced environmental consultant specializing in contaminated sites. As part of our team, you will play a central role in leading assignments and developing our services. Examples of work areas include:
- Project/Assignment Management
- Environmental technical site investigations
- Risk assessments
- Historical inventories and EDD (Environmental Due Diligence)
- Remediation investigations
- Remediation measures and environmental control
Business acumen is important, and you will work on assignments from the bidding phase through implementation and reporting. We value your ability to analyze complex situations and your experience in managing projects from start to finish. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues both locally and nationally within the field to contribute to creating sustainable solutions for the environment. You will also be involved in training and developing junior colleagues.
Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in your role as an experienced environmental consultant, we are looking for you who have:
- At least 5 years of experience working with contaminated sites.
- Experience in consulting work and working as a project/assignment manager.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Post-secondary education, either an academic natural science/engineering (Master's/Bachelor of Science) degree with a major in environmental engineering, chemistry, geology, ecosystem technology, or equivalent parts concerning the environmental field.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you also have experience in any of the areas PFAS, sediment, water quality, preliminary studies, remediation investigations, or advanced risk assessments.
