Your job is important – really

Tanum Municipality offers rehabilitation to individuals covered by municipal healthcare, including those in ordinary housing, special housing, short-term units, and within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will become part of an engaged team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. Together, we work closely with both patients and other professions, focusing on a person-centered and resource-oriented approach.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Actively working with habilitation and rehabilitation
• Conducting assessments, treatments, care planning, and follow-ups
• Mentoring staff and collaborating across professions
• Responsible for fitting and prescribing assistive devices
• Creating conditions for the individual to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible

Qualifications

For this position, you must be a licensed Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist and hold a valid B-driver's license. If you have Norwegian or Danish licensure, you can find more information here: Educated within EU/EEA – regarding your application for licensure - Licensure (#).

We would like you to be:

• Flexible, communicative, and have good teamwork skills
• Comfortable in a team but also able to work independently and securely
• Able to see the patient as a whole and have a reflective working style
• Able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work
• Able to handle changes and make necessary reprioritizations
• Comfortable with IT-based patient record systems
• Fluent in Swedish, or willing to develop your language skills at work

Previous experience in municipal healthcare and/or work within the disability sector is meritorious. Personal qualities are highly valued.
