SiS Youth Home Fagared receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial problems, criminal behavior, and substance abuse. We have departments in Lindome, Öxnevalla, and Gothenburg.

Job Description

We are looking for a substitute nurse for SiS Youth Home Fagared, Lindome unit. As a substitute nurse at SiS Youth Home Fagared, you will be part of our health and medical care organization alongside permanent nurses, psychologists, and consulting physicians. You will have an independent, stimulating, and challenging role where you make a difference for young people with various somatic and mental health issues.

You will have overall responsibility for patient-centered and high-quality health and medical care. This is an independent, stimulating, and challenging role that includes health conversations, nursing care, documentation, medication management and administration, as well as acute medical interventions. Additionally, you will coordinate medical efforts such as contacting physicians, liaising with care partners in outpatient and inpatient care, and assessing and performing measures prescribed by doctors. At the institution, you will collaborate with other professional groups such as doctors, treatment secretaries, unit managers, psychologists, and treatment pedagogues.

Qualifications

We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability, as the role involves a significant amount of independent work while requiring high standards of teamwork and the ability to engage with young people facing complex issues. You need to be clear, stable, and resilient under pressure.

• You must be a licensed nurse.
• A category B driver's license is required.
• As a person, you are flexible, engaged, meticulous, and capable of working independently.
• Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment:

Substitute position for 6 months.

Start date by agreement.
