About Us

The Midwife Clinics in Backa, Biskopsgården, and Torsland are part of Regionhälsan's midwife clinics in Gothenburg. The entire area is HBTQ-certified, and we work according to ISO management and quality system 9001:2015. Our three clinics collaborate closely and support each other in daily operations.

Currently, we have a total of seventeen midwives and two assistant nurses working across the three clinics. In addition to the close collaboration between these three clinics, we also work closely with the midwife clinics in Brämaregården and Eriksberg. We also have a close collaboration with doctors, the Child Health Center (BVC), psychologists, and preventive social workers.

We want to promote employee development and work according to career development models, where we map your competence in relation to the model and what could be the next step in terms of education, development, and tasks. With us, you are involved in both your own and the clinic's development, and we value your initiative.

We offer all employees mentorship and place great emphasis on a good, individualized introduction. As a midwife with us, you get up to ten competence development days per year, including training days, planning days, and conferences. We work actively for a good work environment, and our employees enjoy working here.

About the Job

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and group parenting support. You also work with telephone advice, digital healthcare meetings, and student supervision.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience working at a midwife clinic is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have previous leadership experience or a clear interest in leadership.

As a person, you are independent, engaged, and flexible with very good collaboration skills. You have a professional attitude and a positive approach, both towards patients and colleagues. Great importance is attached to personal suitability for the position.

Other Information

The position is located at one of our midwife clinics in Backa or Biskopsgården. We are open to dialogue regarding the placement.

Selection will take place continuously during the application period, and interviews are planned for June 11 and 12.
