The Procurement Department at Region Dalarna is currently seeking an Contract Controller.

The Procurement Department is centrally located within the region's finance unit and serves as the region's expert support for procurement matters. We have offices in central Falun and are a workplace characterized by a good atmosphere and high employee satisfaction, where we continuously develop in our professional roles.

In the autumn of 2025, Region Dalarna implemented the healthcare information system Cosmic. We are now looking for a Contract Controller who will actively work with this contract at both an operational and strategic level. The contract structure differs from previous systems and places high demands on structured follow-up, business acumen, and supplier management. To ensure that Region Dalarna gets full value from the contract and that deliveries occur as agreed, we are seeking a Contract Controller with a specific focus on the healthcare information system.

The position is located within the Procurement Department and involves close collaboration with operations, legal, finance, IT, as well as external parties.

Region Dalarna is part of a regional collaboration with eight other regions regarding Cosmic, known as the Sussa collaboration. A part of the role therefore involves representing Region Dalarna jointly with the other regions in contract matters.

As a Contract Controller, you are responsible for the commercial and contractual follow-up of the healthcare information contract. The role includes, among other things:

• Monitoring the contract's terms, delivery levels, and incentives.
• Ensuring financial control and correct invoicing.
• Identifying, analyzing, and handling contract deviations.
• Supporting operations, such as health care support functions and management, as well as system administration, in contract and interpretation matters.
• Participating in and contributing to business dialogues and negotiations with the supplier.
• Coordinating Region Dalarna's work towards the Sussa Collaboration in contract matters.
• Contributing to the development of methods, structures, and tools for contract follow-up.
• Working proactively with risk management and realizing the strategic benefit of the contract over time.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant academic education in fields such as economics, law, purchasing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in contract follow-up, contract administration, or supplier management.
• Good business understanding and experience with complex contracts.
• Ability to analyze contracts from both an economic and operational perspective.
• Very good communicative skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

The following are considered meritorious:

• Experience with large IT or service contracts.
• Experience from public sector operations.
• Familiarity with collaboration models or multi-party contracts.
• Experience working closely with legal and/or procurement teams.
