We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Global Application Engineer to join our IT team, taking a central role in developing, optimizing, and managing our business-critical systems and processes.

About the role

As a Global Application Engineer, you report to the CIO and are responsible for ensuring that parts of Axelent's global application portfolio support the company's goals through stable operations, strategic development, and cost-effective management.

You will become a key figure in creating a robust and future-proof IT landscape where systems, integrations, and processes work together to support the business globally. The role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, with a strong focus on development, improvement, and standardization.

The position is a local employment with the possibility of remote work according to policy and agreement with the manager.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for the management, further development, and lifecycle management of business-critical applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, CPQ, WMS, PIM, and PDM), including stable operations, performance, and system improvements.
• Ensure and develop integrations between systems and contribute to efficient and reliable information flows in the business.
• Drive and participate in development initiatives related to process improvement, automation, and efficiency in close collaboration with various business functions.
• Lead and coordinate IT-related projects such as implementations, upgrades, and system changes, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
• Provide support to the business through support, training, and advice, acting as a bridge between IT and the business side on a global level.
• Ensure that applications and working methods comply with current regulations, internal policies, and requirements regarding security, data protection, and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in application management, system development, or a similar IT role.
• Experience in driving and developing applications, systems, and business processes in a business-close environment.
• Experience in project management as well as change and improvement work.
• Good communication skills and fluent in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Experience with business systems and business-close applications in areas such as business and production support, such as ERP, CRM, or similar platforms.
• Experience from international organizations and global IT environments.
• Education in a relevant field is meritorious.
