We are now looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Visualization group in Gothenburg!

About the role

As a GIS consultant, you will participate in projects related to permit applications, rock mechanics, and hydrogeology, where you will present results and provide supporting material for investigations.

Tasks include, for example:

• Data collection and database management
• Processing of geographical data
• Map production and visualization
• Geographical analyses
• Handling elevation data and processing laser data

The work consists mainly of office work, but some field work may also occur. Depending on the project, work at the client's project office may also take place. You will collaborate closely with other consultants, clients, and contractors.

Your profile

We are looking for you who work carefully and systematically and take responsibility for assigned tasks and assignments. You should be able to work independently and always strive to deliver high-quality work. You need to master Swedish and English fluently, both in speech and writing. You want to share your knowledge, but also ask for help when needed.

We are looking for you with

• University or college degree in natural sciences or engineering, preferably with a focus on GIS or where GIS courses have been included
• Very good knowledge of GIS and ESRI software
• Good experience in data management
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Knowledge of FME
• Knowledge of QGIS
• Experience in data coordination
• Experience within CAD
• Class B driver's license
