Teacher for Hällsboskolan Mälarhöjden – Build the future of education with us
Do you want to help create the best conditions for equal education? At the Swedish National Agency for Special Education (SPSM), we work to ensure that all children, students, and adult learners with disabilities reach their educational goals. We operate our own special schools in various locations across Sweden. We also provide support to preschools and schools nationwide to create learning environments that are developmental and accessible. Additionally, we distribute state grants and develop teaching materials.
We hope that you, with your background and competence, can contribute to increasing our diversity.
We work diligently to make equality a reality. Together, we use collaboration and competence to solve assignments. Developing leadership and increasing diversity are currently on our agenda. Together, we contribute to sustainability in society, economically, socially, and environmentally. You can read more about what we offer at www.spsm.se/ledigajobb (https://www.spsm.se/ledigajobb).
A school in transition
All students have the right to a school that gives them the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites. SPSM operates schools on behalf of the state. We offer students a learning environment that provides opportunities for participation, learning, and development. We offer meaningful, stimulating, and important pedagogical work at our schools.
Hällsboskolan Mälarhöjden in Stockholm receives students with severe speech disorders from preschool class through grade 2. Our teaching focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to gain the prerequisites to reach knowledge goals, be active participants in various social contexts, and develop as individuals.
Hällsboskolan Mälarhöjden currently has students from preschool class through grade 2. The school is facing exciting changes as we will soon expand to include classes up to grade 10. We will begin this expansion by opening a branch school on Södermalm in Stockholm for the 2026/2027 academic year, while awaiting new premises in Salem Municipality for the 2027/2028 academic year.
All our schools offer after-school activities. At our schools, we follow the student's development, and you will lead in a school environment where both development and collaboration are important parts of daily work.
