In section LAH at the Close Care Clinic, you will have the opportunity to work in unique environments and in multi-professional, well-functioning teams. Our teams consist of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and counselors. You will meet our patients on our ward and our day-care clinic, but a large part of our operations takes place outside the hospital in the patients' homes. Sometimes we visit patients for a joint assessment; sometimes you meet the patient yourself and discuss with your team before or after the visit.

Job Description

We are looking for a nurse for a varied role within the clinic's different units. You can be experienced or newly graduated; personal qualities are crucial. Here, you will work independently in a team together with other nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics.

Here, there is a collective competence and colleagues who share their clinical and theoretical knowledge with each other. We work proactively to guide patients and their relatives through the care process.

We operate 24/7, and everyone helps deliver the care our citizens need. Our work is facilitated by a mobile working approach where the patient record is always accessible. We base our work on the principle of holistic care, which is built on mutual respect and understanding for the patient's self-esteem and will. All symptoms need to be alleviated, whether they are physical, psychological, spiritual, or emotional. It is about interventions to increase quality of life and well-being. The focus is on creating a professional relationship with the patient and their relatives.

The clinic's staff is a work group of different ages, backgrounds, and with varying professional experience and competencies. The team includes colleagues with specialized competence in palliative care, oncology, emergency care, primary healthcare, geriatrics, and gynecology.

Work Group

You will be stationed in one of our two care teams or Ward 96, and have your fixed point there, but in daily operations, we help each other and allocate our personnel resources where they are most needed based on knowledge and competence. We strive to increase the competence of our employees, and you will rotate between primary and inpatient care as well as across all hours of the day.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and have a B-driver's license. You have a nursing degree. Ideally, specialized training in Palliative Care or Primary Healthcare. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are culturally aware, empathetic, and adaptable to changing circumstances. For this position, we are looking for you who are flexible. Being flexible here means being able to adapt to the current situation and change focus, which is crucial as unpredictable events occur daily. You are loyal and reliable and express a positive attitude towards your work. You have good teamwork skills and are curious about new challenges. You enjoy working in a team with a proactive approach where all professional categories learn from each other.

We work closely together and need good communication to successfully solve the tasks we face in everyday life. Therefore, this position suits you who enjoy collaboration, are responsive, and communicative towards both colleagues, patients, and relatives. Great importance will be placed on personal maturity.
