Do you want to work in a role where analysis doesn't stop at numbers – but actually leads to decisions, change, and business value?
At Logent, you work closely with both customers, suppliers, and decision-makers. Your task is not just to manage transport tenders and analyze data, but to understand, challenge, and translate insights into concrete recommendations that make a difference. This role is for you if you thrive in the space between data, business, and communication – and have the analytical foundation required to create real value.
About the role:
As a Logistics Analyst and Transport Buyer at Logent Supply Chain Services, you will play a central role in developing and improving our customers' logistics solutions. You will work both operationally and strategically – from driving transport tenders (primarily road, but also air, sea, and rail) and analyzing large datasets to implementing improvements. We primarily handle B2B flows, but also B2C, managing both inbound and outbound flows. We work with customers and suppliers both nationally in Sweden and internationally.
The role requires a structured and methodical approach. You will often encounter complex situations where data needs to be interpreted, broken down, and placed in a business context. This applies not only to transport flows but also to other logistics flows. Your strength lies in bringing order to complexity and translating it into clear decision support.
You act as a bridge between procurement, analysis, and decision-making. This means you don't just deliver numbers, but you contextualize them – how does this impact the customer's business, cost structure, and flows? What should be done differently? And why?
Main responsibilities:
In this role, you will among other things:
- drive transport tenders and negotiations
- analyze primarily transport flows but also other logistics flows and identify potential for improvement
- develop structured decision support for customers and other decision-makers
- develop working methods, models, and analysis tools
- contribute to translating analysis into concrete changes in the customer's operations
- nurture and develop relationships with customers and suppliers
- collaborate with a wide range of competencies within the company and the Logent Group
The work takes place in close dialogue with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, which places high demands on business understanding, business ethics, and communication skills.
To succeed in the role, you need:
- the ability to combine analytical depth with practical execution
- the ability to take complex data and distill it into a few clear conclusions
- understanding of both the details and the big picture – and the ability to move between them without losing direction
- the courage to question when something doesn't add up, even in dialogue with customers
- ensuring that analysis actually leads to decisions and results
You need very good communication skills. You must be able to present your insights in a way that is clear, relevant, and adapted to the recipient – whether it is an operational function or a management group.
We are looking for someone who:
Has an academic education in logistics and transport systems or equivalent. You have a strong analytical foundation and are accustomed to working structured with problem-solving, where you translate theory and methodology into practical business value. You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English. You have a driver's license.
You have many years of experience in transport procurement and logistics and have worked in a role where analysis has been a central part. You are used to not just producing data, but also drawing conclusions, prioritizing, and formulating recommendations that are relevant and feasible.
You have a good understanding of how logistics flows are interconnected and how changes in one part of the chain affect the whole. You are comfortable working with complex and large datasets and have excellent knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and good experience with Microsoft 365.
It is particularly advantageous if you have experience with:
- working with Power BI and larger datasets
- presenting analyses to customers or decision-makers
- nurturing and driving relationships with customers and suppliers
Important to know about the role: This role requires an active and independent working style. You are expected to take responsibility for both analysis and recommendations, and to drive the work forward even when the path is not entirely clear.
At Logent: At Logent, you become part of an engaged team with high competence and a strong business focus. We work closely with our customers and have a culture characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and a desire to develop. You will be part of our Solution Design team within our business area Supply Chain Services, based at our office in Mörby, Stockholm.
About the application: Selection is made on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. If you have questions regarding the position or the process, you are welcome to contact Recruitment Specialist Thérése Grivérus at [email protected].
We do not accept applications via email. We look forward to receiving your application!
