Westermo is a global technology company with its main factory in Stora Sundby outside Eskilstuna. This is our “core plant” – the hub for industrialization, methodology, and standards for the entire group. We are in an expansion phase with increased investments, insourcing to Sweden, and continued global growth with operations in Sweden, Germany, Ireland, and India.

We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager within Global Operations who wants to take a central role in developing and optimizing our global production structure.

About the role

This is a strategically important role where you lead complex projects with significant impact on Westermo's global operations. You are part of the Global Operations management team and work closely with the VP of Operations on matters concerning structure, capacity, and future direction.

You drive projects that cover all or parts of our global production footprint – from analysis and decision-making to implementation and follow-up.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Leading major change and investment projects within global production
• Driving the relocation of production between factories and suppliers (EMS)
• Responsible for insourcing and outsourcing initiatives
• Contributing to the optimization and consolidation of Westermo's global production structure
• Ensuring structure, progress, and delivery according to established project models

You work in close collaboration with production, R&D, procurement, quality, and other global functions. The role involves regular international travel.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced project manager with experience driving complex change initiatives in industrial and global environments.

You are accustomed to working structured according to project models, have strong self-drive, and the ability to create progress even in complex contexts. You can challenge technically – but your strength lies in leading, prioritizing, and delivering.

We see that you have:

• Extensive experience leading major projects in industry or manufacturing
• Experience driving change in global organizations
• Good understanding of production processes and industrial flows
• Experience working in an international environment
• A Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical education/experience
• Very good skills in Swedish and English
• Meritorious is experience with, for example, production relocations, outsourcing/insourcing, or working in complex manufacturing environments.
