Job Responsibilities

To meet the operation's needs and continue to offer high-quality care, we are now looking for a nurse for our night team.

As a night nurse in Stenungsund Municipality, you have a central and independent role in ensuring safe and secure care for our patients during the quieter hours of the day. Working at night involves significant responsibility, where your competence and judgment are crucial for meeting both planned and acute care needs.

During the night, you often work more independently, but always in close collaboration with nursing staff and other functions within the operation. You are responsible for medical assessments, interventions, and follow-ups, while also providing support and guidance to care staff in their work.

The tasks may vary and include everything from medication management and acute interventions to counseling and contact with on-call doctors or other healthcare providers. Night work also implies a holistic perspective where you contribute to continuity and security for our patients.

The position is 82% full-time. Working hours will be scheduled at night with shifts every third weekend.
