We are looking for a nurse with a section leader assignment at the Infectious Disease Clinic in Falun! Do you want to combine patient care with coordination and development? We are now seeking a nurse who wants to become part of our team at the Infectious Disease Clinic in Falun – and at the same time take special responsibility in the role of section leader.

The Infectious Disease Clinic in Falun is Dalarna's specialist clinic for infectious diseases with a county-wide mandate. Here, we treat patients with complex infectious conditions and contagious diseases. At the Infectious Disease Clinic, five nurses work in close collaboration with the clinic's physicians – together we aim to create a safe and professional care environment.

Here, you will have a varied job in a team with close cooperation between professions. We offer an introduction tailored to your needs and the opportunity to develop in a combined clinical and coordinating role.

The work at the clinic is varied and includes, among other things, outpatient care, sample collection, wound dressing, telephone advice, administration, and reception duties. We also operate a vaccination clinic and a joint orthopedic/infectious disease clinic.

You will work with patients in areas such as Hepatitis B and C, HIV, latent tuberculosis, primary immunodeficiency, MRSA, and OPAT (outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy at home).

The assignment as section leader covers approximately 25% of the position and is a fixed-term appointment for two years, combined with a permanent employment as a nurse.

As section leader, you work closely with the first-line manager and the physician responsible for the clinic, contributing to the development of patient safety, accessibility, and care quality. As section leader, you are part of the clinic's management group.

The assignment includes, among other things:

• planning and coordinating outpatient work
• coordinating physician clinics, patient bookings, and follow-up of waiting lists
• daily management of the work group
• introducing new employees and keeping introduction material updated
• contributing to cooperation between the clinic's different units and external partners
• contributing to the clinic-wide work together with the rest of the management group
• serving as local SIV (support in operations) for Cosmic

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse who thrives in a role where you combine patient care with coordination and administration

Merits:

• Experience in infectious disease care, outpatient work
• Management training or equivalent experience
