We are looking for a machine operator/environmental worker for the Recycling Center in Varberg for a permanent position. Here you work practically with both machine operation and the daily operation of the facility.

About the job

The position is a combined role where you work both as a machine operator and an environmental worker.

As a machine operator, you drive wheel loaders and work with:

• moving, loading, and compacting waste
• sorting materials
• keeping the area accessible, safe, and structured

As an environmental worker, you work with the daily operation of the facility. This means that you:

• keep the area clean and tidy
• pick up mis-sorted materials and empty bins
• handle items such as white goods and bulky waste
• meet visitors, show them where to go, and help out as needed

The work takes place outdoors year-round and in close collaboration with your colleagues.

We are looking for you who

• Have training for wheel loaders (TLP 10) and a C2 operator's license.
• Are used to taking personal responsibility and working practically.
• Are service-oriented and comfortable meeting people at work.
• Function well in a team and contribute to good collaboration.
• Have good orderliness and enjoy maintaining a workplace.
• Master Swedish in speech and writing.
• Have good physical fitness and enjoy active outdoor work.
