About the role – Machine Vision Engineer

You design and optimize AutomationsPartner's vision systems – the machine's "eyes" that ensure precision, quality, and efficiency in production. The work involves advanced vision solutions with image processing, lighting, and integration with machinery.

You follow projects all the way – from idea to finished solution at the customer.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and configure systems for machine vision (2D/3D vision).
• Select cameras, optics, lighting, and algorithms based on requirements and conditions.
• Configure and program vision solutions in platforms such as Cognex.
• Responsible for the integration of vision systems into automation solutions.
• Test, evaluate, and optimize performance, accuracy, and robustness.
• Support the aftermarket with troubleshooting and further development.

We are looking for you who:

We believe you are an ambitious and curious person with education in automation, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent, as well as experience with vision and integration in machinery. You have a good understanding of image processing, optics, and lighting and are driven by finding smart and robust technical solutions. As a person, you are analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving with a strong interest in technology. You work independently but thrive equally well in teams where collaboration, innovation, and shared success are the focus.
