Outdoor Maintenance Worker – Seasonal Role
SP Utemiljö is growing and we need to strengthen our team for the upcoming season. We are currently looking for approximately four people for seasonal work in green area maintenance.
We work with ground construction, nature conservation, and maintenance of outdoor environments year-round. With us, you will enjoy varied outdoor work, clear tasks, and colleagues who support each other. You will become an important part of the team during our most intensive season and work on practical tasks where results are visible immediately.
About the Role
As an outdoor maintenance worker at SP Utemiljö, you will handle various tasks within green area maintenance and gardening. You will work practically outdoors and contribute to ensuring our customers' outdoor environments are well-maintained, pleasant, and inviting.
The tasks vary but include among others:
- Weed control
- Hedge trimming
- Mowing and edging
- Watering
- Planting
- Cleaning
- Maintenance of planting areas
- Other practical outdoor tasks
We work for private clients, companies, housing associations, and property management companies. The work involves many hours outdoors, often at a fast pace and in varying weather conditions. Therefore, you need to have good physical fitness, be enduring, and able to maintain a steady work pace throughout the workday.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and wants to work with the maintenance of outdoor environments. You need to be willing to work, responsible, and good at collaborating with others.
You will interact with customers, colleagues, and residents in our assignments. Therefore, it is important that you are social, pleasant, and service-oriented. You contribute to a good work climate and care that both the work and the interaction maintain high quality.
For us, the right attitude is more important than formal education. If you have experience with green area maintenance, gardening, or other practical work, it is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are driven, keep up the pace, collaborate well, and want to learn.
You might, for example, have worked in gardening, green area maintenance, agriculture, property maintenance, construction, service, warehousing, sports, or other practical work. If you have the right attitude and the desire to develop, you will fit well with us.
Since the work involves driving between different workplaces and assignments, a manual B-driver's license is a requirement.
We are looking for someone who has
- Manual B-driver's license
- Good physical fitness

- Interest in practical outdoor work
Meritorious Qualifications
It is meritorious if you have:
- Previous experience in gardening or green area maintenance
- Pruning skills
- Chainsaw license AB
- Brush cutter license RA/RB
- Safety on the Road certification
- BE-driver's license
- TCYK certification
Employment
The positions are seasonal contracts, with the employment period extending until October, with the possibility of extension. For the right person, there may also be opportunities for recurring seasonal work or a permanent position. We also accept summer jobbers/vacation workers.
