We are the family-owned company AgriStella AB, operating chicken farming and crop cultivation in Vreta Kloster, just over a mile outside Linköping. The farming involves approximately 1,500,000 chickens per year, and the crop cultivation focuses on cereals, rapeseed, and legumes on 200 hectares of arable land. We raise healthy and content chickens and are members of the Swedish Poultry Welfare Program (Svensk Fågel).

We are looking for

You, who have an interest in poultry farming. We do not require prior experience with poultry as you will receive the necessary training continuously, both internally and through industry-specific training courses. Education and/or professional experience within agriculture is advantageous, but interest and commitment weigh heavier.

You understand the importance of treating animals with care and want to contribute to creating good conditions for them during the rearing process.

You thrive working both independently and as part of a team. We also value that you appreciate order and structure and are a responsible individual, partly because our operations require a high level of biosecurity and hygiene. For disease control reasons, you are therefore not allowed to keep poultry or reptiles at home.

The work is practical and physically demanding. The position requires you to have a valid B-driver's license. Previous experience with tractors and machinery is advantageous but not a requirement.

We offer

A part-time position of 50-75% with a focus on the chickens. Your workday will consist of daily fixed routines with the chickens, as well as varying tasks depending on the stage of the rearing cycle.

Examples of daily work in chicken farming include; care and supervision, checking feed, water, and ventilation equipment, and simpler maintenance and servicing.

The position also includes evening and weekend work according to an agreed schedule.

Salary and terms are negotiable. We have a collective agreement. Start date in autumn 2026.
