Swehatch AB is a company that produces and delivers day-old chicks in Sweden. The operations are located in Väderstad, Mjölby Municipality. The company is part of the Scandi Standard group, which owns brands such as Kronfågel in Sweden and Danpo in Denmark. The group is represented in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland.

Swehatch encompasses both animal production – where the company produces hatching eggs – and two hatcheries where the day-old chicks are hatched. They have operations in three locations in Sweden: Flyinge, Hagby, and Väderstad.

About the Job

Montico is recruiting summer staff for Swehatch in Väderstad for the period of weeks 26–33.

As part of the team, you will work with varied and important tasks within poultry production. You will become a significant part of the operation – seize the opportunity to make a difference at Swehatch!

Job Description

• Supervision and maintenance of production
• Handling of eggs and chicks
• Washing of machinery
• Other production tasks

The work involves heavy tasks and lifting. The position is scheduled 5 out of 7 days, daytime hours every day of the week, including holidays.

Previous experience in the industry is meritorious but not required.
