NTI Gymnasiet Södertörn is looking for a Study and Career Counselor

NTI Gymnasiet Södertörn is a personal school with 240 students, distributed across the Technology Program, Electrical and Energy Program, Vocational Introduction, and the fourth technical year. We are now looking for an engaged study and career counselor who wants to support our students in their choices and path towards future studies and working life.

About the position

As a study and career counselor with us, you play a crucial role in guiding students regarding future study and career choices. You work both individually and in collaboration with the school staff to provide students with good conditions for making well-informed decisions about their future.

The role includes individual counseling sessions, information sessions for students and guardians, and support regarding eligibility, further studies, working life, and future choices. You also contribute a study and career counseling perspective to the school's work and collaborate with school leadership, student health services, and educators as needed.

We are looking for someone who

• is educated as a study and career counselor
• has a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• works in a structured, independent manner with a clear focus on the student
• has good knowledge of educational pathways, eligibility requirements, and transitions to further studies and working life
• is receptive, communicative, and confident in counseling conversations
• wants to contribute to students' motivation, hope for the future, and development

Additional information

The position is a permanent part-time employment at 20 percent with a six-month probationary period, starting in August or as agreed.
