Description
Welcome to the newly opened care and housing facility Ängegärde. We are now looking for a Specialist Nurse Assistant for our ward for people under 65 years of age with cognitive impairment.
Here, care and housing, home help services, home healthcare, and administration are gathered under one roof in a smartly designed building focused on collaboration, well-being, and quality. We offer space for 90 tenants and two home help groups – all in an environment where you as an employee have room to grow and make a real difference. At Ängegärde, we use modern technology to facilitate work and improve the quality of life for our tenants.
Job Responsibilities
As a Specialist Nurse Assistant on Ward 65, you have a significant role where you make a difference in people's daily lives every day. You work with people under 65 years of age with cognitive illness, which places high demands on competence, security, and a person-centered approach.
The assignment is complex and varied, and we are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has in-depth knowledge in the field, and can meet each individual based on their unique needs and conditions. You actively contribute to creating structure, security, and meaning in everyday life, both for the residents and for colleagues in the team.
In this role, you are expected to take on extended responsibility, function as a knowledge resource in the operations, and contribute to the development of working methods and quality in care. You collaborate closely with colleagues and other professions and are an important part of ensuring safe, dignified, and professional care.
You are also involved in driving change. We are constantly looking for new, smart ways to work, with the goal of offering modern and meaningful elderly care. Through special ombudsman roles, you get the opportunity to deepen your expertise and contribute to making the quality for our care recipients as broad and strong as possible.
Your working hours:
The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are educated as a Specialist Nurse Assistant and have a genuine interest in working with people and making a difference in their lives.

We are looking for someone who:

Requirements:
- Are educated as a Specialist Nurse Assistant with 200 vocational higher education credits/60 university credits relevant to care and housing of the elderly.
- Protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare/service certificate confirming that you were employed permanently with the title of Specialist Nurse Assistant on July 1, 2023.
- Have experience with dementia.
- Have good computer skills.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- You ensure good care.
- Have good cooperation skills and can work with quality awareness.
- Can create trusting relationships.
Merits:
- Experience with social documentation.
- Experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing) and low-affective handling.
- Worked with young people with cognitive illness.
